Java Joy Atlanta is a program of ESP Inc. Atlanta was launched in October 2020. Two families’ commitment to their community, kids of all abilities, and Java Joy helped create our spread to Atlanta. Chad & Kim Lindsey had special ties to ESP, as former summer counselors. They now have a son, Hayes, who is an ESP participant. Java Joy in Atlanta will one day expand the resources and community available to Hayes! Our other Atlanta Champions, Ryan & Ashley Edmonds, connected with Laura Whitaker, ESP’s Executive Director through Leadership Georgia. They were able to experience the joy and were inspired to bring Java Joy to Atlanta. Java Joy Atlanta serves throughout the metro area and employs 20 Joyristas!
ESP Atlanta is now looking for businesses that are interested in booking Java Joy for weekly recurring packages. If interested, please reach out to email@example.com.
We are at the Benz!
Java Joy is an official vendor of Mercedes-Benz Stadium! You can find Java Joy’s permanent cart serving hot and iced coffee on the 100 Floor near Marker 115. Mercedes-Benz Stadium chose Java Joy as its only coffee vendor and its first non-profit vendor partner. Java Joy serves all of Mercedes-Benz Stadium’s ticketed events, over 70 per year. The partnership with Mercedes-Benz Stadium extends Java Joy’s engagement to over four million customers and fans who visit the Mercedes-Benz Stadium each year, with many from outside of Georgia. Four million people who may never otherwise have had an opportunity to connect with a person with a disability will now be able to meaningfully engage with a Joyrista®. In the Atlanta area, Mercedes Benz Stadium is also the first major venue to build a partnership with a nonprofit to employ people with disabilities. This partnership is allowing Java Joy to provide employment to more people with disabilities in the Atlanta-area. For each of the 70 ticketed events per year, that is an additional shift we can offer our Joyristas®! This permanent cart also allows us to hire at least 15 more Joyristas®.
